Most Continuent.org projects are licensed under either of two licenses:

Contributions

Generally speaking Continuent.org projects accept outside contributions. Some projects are dual-licensed, however, and for these we do not accept outside contributions.

Our Policy

Projects that accept outside contributions accept them under the following terms. Every contributor remains holder of his copyright but grants the usage of the code under the terms of the Apache License.

Note that projects may import libraries in binary format that can be subject to the terms of other licenses (BSD, LGPL, ...). We do not accept libraries with a viral license such as the GPL in the Continuent.org projects.

Projects that do not accept outside contributions will provide terms for submitting a patch if you so desire.
